Crappie:
A small bait is not necessarily always the best bait for crappie. The old saying “
bigger the bait the bigger the fish” is sometimes right even on crappie. We have
had a lot of our customers want a larger profile bait. Years ago the 3” Puddle
Jumper was real popular. We are bringing them back.
Walleye:
We have had a number of people try 3 inch Puddle Jumpers for walleye. From
what we hear they make an great lure for walleye, either on a jig or as a trailer.
Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass:
Fish alone with a jig or add a spin and you have a great bait for either of these
fish. In Northern waters the black sure gives the impression of a leach. We
recently sent 2000 3 inch purple to a store in Indiana. They were catching
smallmouth on them.
How to use:
You can use them by themselves on a jig head, add a spin to them, use as a trailer
on a spinner bait, a trailer on a hair or rubber jig, on a Carolina rig, or drop shot.
Let your imagination be your guide.
